NACVA’s CVA designation received accreditation from the U.S. National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) – it is the only valuation credential accredited by the NCCA.
NACVA received accreditation of its designation by submitting an application demonstrating the CVA program’s compliance with the NCCA’s Standards for the Accreditation of Certification Programs. Their mission is to help ensure the health, welfare and safety of the public through the accreditation of a variety of certification programs/organizations that assess professional competence.
Since 1977, NCCA has been accrediting certifying programs based on the highest quality standards in professional certification to ensure the programs adhere to modern standards of practice in the certification industry. NCCA is the accrediting body of the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE), whose mission is to promote excellence in competency assurance for practitioners in all occupations and professions.
NACVA joins an elite group of more than 90 organizations representing over 200 programs that have received and maintained NCCA accreditation.
