Mike will define collaboration engaging the audience in a high-energy, interactive session. In today’s presentation, Mike will use elements from three of his books: The Collaboration Effect, Peaceful Resolutions, and The Servant Manager. Brain science will be applied to enlighten participants on the steps necessary to explore and enhance opportunities to provide better client outcomes. Mike will give participants one of the tools they need to apply this technique immediately at work and in life, as well as other helpful information.

Michael A. Gregory:
Mike is a mediation and negotiation specialist. He has the knowledge, experience, and relationships to help you with IRS and other disputes.
After 28 years at the IRS, Mike founded Michael Gregory Consulting, LLC, in September 2011. This firm focuses on risk management issues with the Internal Revenue Service, alternative dispute resolution, emphasizing mediation, and value-added services. Over his last eleven years at the IRS, he was an IRS territory manager responsible for 23 states, with an emphasis on the national business valuation arena. Mike brought mediation and mediation training to the IRS Large Business and International division and has facilitated dispute mediation design.
Mike has conducted over 2,500 mediations, facilitations, and negotiations over his career. Mike has mediated issues up to $1 billion with Fortune 100 companies to more minor business issues in the millions of dollars. He has saved clients hundreds of millions of dollars. Mike has also mediated and led efforts to develop labor management and Equal Employment and Opportunity dispute management system design. Using neuroscience and experience, Mike mediates or assists teams with negotiations between business and government, business to business, within businesses, and boards of directors. He also mediates business valuation and business issues in divorce.
Michael Gregory is an Accredited Senior Appraiser with the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) and a Certified Valuation Analyst with the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA). He has also served on the Business Valuation Committee of the American Society of Appraisers and the Valuation Credentialing Board and is the chair of the Ethics and Oversight Board of NACVA. Mike is a reviewer for the Trust and Estates Journal Valuation Committee.
Mike is a Minnesota State Bar Association Alternative Dispute Resolution Section board member and a Qualified Mediator with the Minnesota Supreme Court. Mike has a BS from Valparaiso University, an MS from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, and an MBA from DePaul University.
